Updating a building the size of a stadium is no easy feat, and since the integral part of Seattle’s skyline is on the National Historic registry it makes it even more challenging. Astound had the task of interpreting architectural intent and fabricating then installing all of the ornamental metals inside the arena. Everything from VIP suites, Public concession areas, and even the players walk-out tunnel was formed and finished in Portland, OR before shipping to Seattle for installation. The result was a refreshing new take on what a modern arena should feel like.
