IMMERSIVE PLAY ENVIRONMENT

Building a fully immersive environment that transports you into another world is a tall order: but now make it playable, climbable, indestructible, and able to handle 300+ kids a day who want to be in their favorite movie. That was the challenge presented by CAMP for their 5th Avenue store and the debut of the TROLLS activation in partnership with Universal Studios. The timeline was tight with about 3 months from final design approval to finished installation. When you step off the busy streets of NYC and go through the “magic door” and are immediately met by 1000’s of linear feet of fur, felt, flocking, and all the soft materials in North America the end result was truly transformative.

Responsibilities: design assistance, material sampling, production oversight, client relations, install lead, logistics, project management, on-site, construction management, lighting/sound design assistance.
